Fiction Story 1 — Part 8

This post is part of an ongoing story. If this is your first time here, then WELCOME! I have an introduction that will explain the “what” and the “why”. You can follow this link to catch up on previous posts. Enjoy!

I didn’t even want to attend commencement. I would have been happier to have skipped the three hours to sit alone and drink the night away. But my mother made a big deal about it, telling me it would make her thrilled to have a picture of me in a graduation cap. Why? Cause it makes her look good, that’s why. She wanted to bask in my accomplishment even though just last year she told me I shouldn’t have gone with my English major.

What I wanted didn’t matter, as usual.

Jonar

Jonar is a writer and a photographer. He has a lot of opinions, many of which are not worth sharing. And yet, here we are.

He also enjoys video games, silly anime, project management, practicing self-care and having a good relationship with himself: flaws and all.
