Okay, I need to turn this around
Old-timey blood pressure gauge!
I did not have a good day. It started with last night. Heart palpitations kept me up. My blood pressure would spike and kill my drowsiness. I’d breathe deep afterward, wonder if I had a heart attack, and grab my phone to make sure.
I probably did not have a heart attack. I am less sure about when I passed out. Maybe 2AM? I left for work at 6AM and arrived exhausted.
I did what I could. I made my to-do list and checked each item off. I got a lot done, even though I felt like I was in a trance from the exhaustion.
But then the palpitations came back. They did not come as often as last night, but it was still worrisome. I chose to leave work early so I can start my recovery sooner.
I need to sleep early tonight. That is obvious. I also need to eat better. I’ve been eating Doritos and Popcorners for the past couple of weeks. I am sure that high sodium is what’s causing those blood pressure spikes.
