It was a nice run (no, I’m not stopping my blog)

What happened today:

• I think I might end this bullet journal format.

  • At least for now.

Extra Thoughts:

I am ending the bullet journal format as I currently have it because I think it’s stifling my expression.

It’s not that the format is keeping me from expressing my thoughts how I want them. Rather, it’s “encouraging” me to write less because I subconsciously treat the bullet journal like an outline. I subconsciously omit sentences that I would write to keep the prose flowing. And it’s in that flow where I come up with more ideas to express. I rob myself of that opportunity for new thoughts with the bullet format.

It was a nice attempt though. I’ll reflect on what went well with this format and see if I can incorporate it into my writing as a whole.

Anyway, that’s it for now. Also, I’m still recovering from the time change. I really dislike Daylight Saving Time.
