These posts can’t all be winners

Sometimes you feel like going down the road most travelled.

A lot of people space out their blog posts. James Clear started out with two articles a week. I’ve seen others who will post once a week. Some once a month. This gives the writer time to consider what they want to share with the world as they work through the process through activities like outlining and (sigh) editing.

I’m writing a post a day. And I haven’t done this kind of work before. I am insane.

I knew going into this daily blog project that I would to rub against my perfectionism and my need to perform at my best every… single… time….

That is why I went ahead with the project — I wanted to challenge this limiting aspect of myself. I have let it hold me back from my potential for years. And, quite frankly, I am sick of it.

So, the underwhelming posts with continue. This isn’t to say that I won’t give each post my best effort. It’s just that sometimes that best effort will be pretty crappy.

And that is totally okay.

I guess?

Yeah... it is.
