You are telling me that I can nap on my commute??

As you know, I commute by train to work. I take the Metrolink IE/OC line from Corona to Tustin, which is nice because I don’t have to do any train hopping. At 45 minutes, the train takes about as long as driving on a typical day of traffic. Theoretically, I can make it to work faster by driving if I take a few shortcuts.

However, I get to read or nap on my way to work instead of being in stop-and-go traffic — on constant high alert. It’s not like I can close my eyes while I’m driving. You never know when some idiot in front of me is going to slam on their brakes because they saw a pretty flower growing on the side of the road.

It makes me mad that I spent more than a decade doing the latter when I had the former as a perfectly good option.

But that’s in the past. Now I get to enjoy a post-work nap.
