And sometimes your plans go awry

I’m running out of decent stock images to use on my posts.

You know how I had done all that prep work to get ready for the work week? Well, I had a nasty bout of insomnia and that ended up spoiling my plans of a productive Monday.

I want to take something away from this failure. In this case, I think the effort that I put into doing this prep work kept me from getting super depressed when it all went south. The secondary benefit of going on that grocery run was that it gave me enough momentum to move beyond the setback and not give in to despair.

Essentially, the prep work still helped me keep depression on the down low. I will remember this.
