If you give a Jonar a PC…

This image is relevant. Trust me.

What happened today:

  • There was a time change? No wonder I showed up an hour late to work.

  • Started to build out a Squarespace website for my company.

    • It only took me an hour and a half to make a perfectly serviceable home page. I can only imagine how well it’ll look by the time the free trial period ends.

  • Waiting out traffic sucks. I will take the train tomorrow.

Extra Thoughts

Ever since I bought my new PC, I had been thinking about buying a new monitor. Buying anything is like a If You Give a Mouse a Cookie situations — you’re always going to want something to complement your new purchase.

So what am I looking for in a new monitor? Better color representation and contrast. I’m not as interested in response rate since I don’t play competitive online anymore. I’m old. My reflexes are shot. I have to move on.

But, yeah, something that will make my Elden Ring sessions feel moody and foreboding. My current monitor washes out the scenery. Blacks look more grey, and it has a hard time rendering dark caves. It’s like my medieval character has night vision. It’s not spooky.

I work next to the Micro Center, so I’ll make my way over there after I post this blog.

Jonar

Jonar is a writer and a photographer. He has a lot of opinions, many of which are not worth sharing. And yet, here we are.

He also enjoys video games, silly anime, project management, practicing self-care and having a good relationship with himself: flaws and all.
