Giving the time for my writing

This is an apt metaphor.

Now that I am on the upswing, I want to ensure that I make the most of it. To that end, I see the need to improve the quality of my writing — if only to boost my own ego which, in turn, would add more energy to this positive change in mood.

So, I want to spend more time with a piece of writing. This means spending several days on the same thing. However, I still intend on keeping a daily blog schedule. In order to keep to my writing schedule, I will have to reduce the amount of effort I spend on this blog so I can redirect that time to that longer project.

Now, ideally, I would have a buffer of quality articles down the pike so that I have something to post that fulfills my daily goal while also being something that I am proud of. Since I don’t have that buffer right now, these short posts will have to do.

However, there is a plus side to this: I have a new topic that I can write about now. I’ll use these shorter posts to report on what I have learned from this latest effort.

At least it’s different from my usual “bleh I’m not doing very well today” posts.

So, anyway, that’s it. I am excited over trying this new routine — as I usually am whenever I try anything new. This is going to be fun, however it turns out.

I am a perpetual adventurer. I’d say that is one of my better qualities.
