I couldn’t afford my own photographer, so I hired myself

Playing around with black and white.

Leg Update: It’s not much better than yesterday. It isn’t worse, though. I should fully recover this weekend, or by at least 80%. It’d be nice if I can stand from my chair without holding my desk for support.

I practiced taking selfies — excuse me, “self portraits.” It was something to do, having not taken one in months. And I was also feeling pretty, so why not? I used the X-S10 with the 55-200m to take the photos. This setup required that I prop the camera at a distance. I used a gorilla pod, a bendy contraption that allowed me to latch the camera on a chain-linked fence. It took an hour to get ready.

I’ll use this photo if I ever make a consulting business.

I guess I was using my fingers to mimic a phone, but I missed my ear.

I wish I took a picture of the setup with my phone. I forgot.

Overall, not a bad use of my time. I can think of a better way to wait out traffic.
